We updated our survey reports just last year, adding word tiles, sentiment analysis and word clouds to make it quick and simple for you to spot trends without needing to do any analysis.
Today we’re improving survey reports again. Fuelled by feedback, and understanding more about what you wanted from your survey reports, we were keen to get three things right in this update:
1) Give you additional statistics that help you understand how your team have scored and why
2) Add flexibility to our survey reports so you can see why things are happening and in which teams
3) Give context to your results so you know exactly how your team are feeling question-to-question
How we’ve improved survey reports so far:
We’ve given you more visibility of the numbers that matter, and added some context to boot
Many of you wanted to know what percentage of people agree or strongly agree with your question, whilst others wanted to know your average score. With previous reports, you had to do this manually. We’ve now added these numbers in, so you can now see them front and centre of your survey report!
You’ll now be able to access the average score, percentage of respondents with a positive answer, response rate and percentage of respondents who have left follow-up answers, within your survey report. All of these modules can be exported at the click of a button too, ready to drop into reports or internal comms with ease.
And – the cherry on top - if your question is recurring, you’ll see whether your scores are better or worse than before. Giving you additional context on key trends within your colleagues.
We’ve made it easier to get to the data you care about
Our new universal filter will help you understand trends within groups of employees and understand at a deeper level what your employees are really saying. You can use it to tailor your survey report and filter results, so you can see exactly what you’re interested in.
For example, if you want to talk through a specific team’s response with their manager you can filter by that team and the full report will update instantly, making you meeting ready in seconds. Or, if you’re interested in taking a closer look at what the analysis and comments look like for people who answered a certain way, with a certain word tile, or sentiment you can do this too.
You can now also search comments for your own keywords and phrases, allowing you to delve deeper into employees’ follow-up answers than ever before! This will be useful if you’re interested in learning more about a particular phrase or word, but it hasn’t been highlighted in the word cloud.
We’ve made the way we display data clearer
We’ve changed up the graphs too, making them clearer to read and understand. Scores are now displayed within the graph, instead of leaving you to hover over them. This way you can see immediately what the picture is and easily compare your segments!
Segmented recurring campaign graphs have had a facelift too! Our new graphs show you each recurrence broken down by your chosen segment e.g teams. This allows you to identify hotspots for action without needing to compare different graphs. We also display the organisation’s average within the heatmap, so you can compare whether teams are above or below average. This will allow you to learn from those who are overperforming and know which teams to provide additional support and guidance to.
For recurring questions, we’ve also added a new graph - average score over time graph so you can see exactly how your score has changed over the weeks!
We’ve also added colour to the word clouds (literally!) to give depth and context to the insights. Before, you could see key phrases such as ‘work from home’ or ‘wellbeing’ but couldn’t tell if these were related to positive or negative answers without clicking into them. With this update the words will be coloured depending on their score, so you can see this instantly. You can also switch between colouring the key phrases by average sentiment and average score, depending on what is more important to you.
We’ve made it quicker to do the things you need to do, directly within the reports
We’ve put action buttons within your survey report to make it easier for you to do actions without needing to move about within the tool. For example, if you’re checking in on how your survey is going and you want to send a reminder, you can now do this directly within the report. Previously you had to return to the survey homepage to do these types of actions.
We’ve also added export buttons to all elements of the survey report so you can export graphs, word clouds and even comments straight out of Stribe and ready to share in reports, internal communications or presentations.
