Stribe allows you to create a specific survey audience so you send your surveys to key segments , rather than everyone!

This means you can send the right survey, to the right people, at the right time 🙌. It also helps you avoid survey fatigue by making sure the surveys remain relevant to the employees you’re targeting.

You can use this to create surveys that send based on specific start date surveys (onboarding), surveys for certain roles or using any other segments you include on your initial employee upload!

To add audience rules to your pulse surveys, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to your Stribe account as an Admin From the dashboard, choose the ‘Pulse’ option on the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

  2. In ‘Live Campaigns’ select the ‘New Campaign’ button on the top right of your screen. Now you’ll come to the adding questions stage.

  3. Once you’ve selected your question, choose the answer type that fits best.

  4. Once you’ve chosen your answer type, the next stage will ask if you’d like to ask a follow up question. (Follow-up questions are recommended).

  5. After deciding whether to use a follow up question, there is an option to add word tiles, to help clarify the key themes of any responses. (Adding word tiles is recommended).

  6. Click ‘Save’ using the grey box and your question will be saved!

  7. To add more questions, scroll back to the top of the page, and repeat steps 4 to 8.

  8. Once you’re happy with your list of questions, choose the ‘Confirm Campaign’ button on the right hand side of the page.

  9. Here is where you’ll see where to choose either a fixed or dynamic audience which you can read more about here.

  10. Underneath the fixed vs dynamic selection, you’ll see ‘Add Audience Rule’.

Using the ‘Add Audience Rule’ button means you can either choose to send to everyone (all employees) or you can use any employee segments that were uploaded into Stribe to capture feedback from particular groups. For example, you might have a survey particularly for line managers - this can be done using audience rules (so long as that data has been uploaded within the employee upload as a segment).

Another example is if you just wanted to send it to everyone who works in London locations, you could add a rule for Location to be ‘London’.

Important! Every pulse survey you send will use the add audience rule button. Even ‘Send to Everyone’ is added from this button.
