Our Values feature allows you to track topics that mean the most to you, using surveys. There are a few ways you can add values to your survey questions. Learn more about how to get the most out of your surveys with values with the video guides below!

Here is how to set up a Value from the Values dashboard:

  1. Log in as an Admin user

  2. From the left hand side menu, choose ‘Pulse’.

  3. When in the pulse section, choose ‘Values’.

  4. Underneath the graph, you’ll see any Values already created, and you can choose ‘New’ to add a new Value.

  5. When you choose ‘New’, it’ll open a page where you can name your value, choose a colour and also add any questions retrospectively to the new value. You can’t create a new pulse from here, so if you want to ask a new question for the new value, you’ll need to set the value up during the question creation (see below).

  6. Click ‘Create

  7. You will be taken back to the main values page where you will see the value you’ve just added on the graph and in the section underneath too!

  8. You can reorder the values depending on what you want to see first! Just drag and drop.

You can see a video of this process here:

Here is how to set a value up during question creation:

  1. Follow the steps to set up a pulse survey as normal, if you need a reminder on how to do this then check this article here.

  2. When you reach the ‘Add to Value’ section you’ll see two options, a dropdown box to select an already existing value or a box ‘Create New Value’ - click the create new option.

  3. You’ll then get to name your value, choose the colour attributed to the value (that will display on the line graph in that colour) and which responses to the question you’d like to count towards the value.

  4. Click ‘Save’ and your value is saved to the question.

  5. Continue the survey creation process as normal!
